Show Robert Kazmayer Sets Knife, Fork Appearance 1 1 f- w$ - . 1 ; 1 j I -J ii ROBERT KAZMAYER The members of the Escalante Knife and Fork club will have a treat in store for them at the next meeting of the organization when Robert Kazmayer, author, editor, world traveler, tour conductor con-ductor and one of the most popular pop-ular speakers on the American platform, will be the guest of honor. According to Ianthus Wright, the local president, the affair will be held at El Escalante hotel ho-tel on Monday, April 27. Mr. Kazmayer is considered the most popular speaker in the Associated organization. Because of this fact, it is expected that there will be a complete sellout sell-out when he appear in Cedar City. This noted authority on domestic and world affairs will speak on "Whither America 1953". To this discussion the speaker will lend the experience gained through a quarter of a century of almost continuous travel. His latest journeys include a flying trip around the world during the course of which he saw top American military figures in Korea, Ko-rea, Nehru in India, and dozens of the lesser leaders in Egypt, Italy, France and England. Although he is still a young man, Bob Kazmayer isn't a novice no-vice on the platform. He has been much in demand for the past 12 years. He gained his first experience with the public via the radio as a news commentator commenta-tor in Rochester, N. Y. Kazmayer attributes his start on the lecture platform to a lucky circumstances. Caught in Germany when World War II began in 1939, he returned to America and spoke to a group of New York business men the day he landed. The success of that lecture determined the course of his activity in all the years since. New officers of the club, elected elect-ed at a recent meeting of the board of directors will be introduced intro-duced at the meeting Monday. |
