Show Rotarians Pledge 100 Per Cent Support For Foundation Fund The Cedar City Rotary club obtained what is known as "100 per cent" in the Rotary Foundation Founda-tion Fund Tuesday, according to Glen Froyd, head of Rotary International In-ternational committee for the lo-' cal club. J The Rotary Foundation Fund is established in each Rotary club within the 85 countries that it serves and the funds raised for the foundation is used in sponsoring exchange students all over the world. Exchange students stu-dents from the United States are sponsored to various other countries coun-tries and vice versa, aocording to Mr. Froyd. "100 per cent" simply means that in accordance with the number of members in each Rotary Ro-tary organization, that each member has made his contribution contribu-tion to the Foundation Fund. According to Mr. Froyd, the obtaining of "100 per cent" this year has not been equaled in the local club since 1947 when the Cedar City organization was third in the state to obtain the "100 per cent" mark. Assisting Mr. Froyd in the International In-ternational affairs committee, in charge of the foundation fund are Rulon Knell and Harold Mitchell. |
