Show Long Illness Claims Life of Former Cedar City Resident Funeral services were held in Roosevelt, Utah, Friday, for George Bacon, 64, a former resident resi-dent of Cedar City, who died Tuesday, April 14, at his residence resi-dence after a five-week illness. Services were conducted in the Roosevelt First ward chapel, by Bishop R. V. Larsen, and fcurial was in the Roosevelt City cemetery. ceme-tery. Mr. Bacon is survived by two sons. James Bacon, Burley, Idaho; Ida-ho; Jack Bacon, serving with the Naval Air Force in California; two daughters. Mrs. John W. (Mona) Bess, Murray; Mrs. Don (Florence) Whatcott, Salt Lake City; nine grandchildren; two bothers and two sisters, Clarence R., and James E. Bacon, Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mrs. Ernest Parrish, Salt Lake City and Mrs. Jesse Nielson, Provo. Mr. Bacon moved his family from Cedar City to Roosevelt about 12 years ago, where they had resided since. |
