Mrs. Ralph Box entertained at a luncheon Friday afternoon at her home. A centerpiece of yel-. low Iris adorned the table with place cards appointed for eight guests, including Mrs. Blain Stanifird, Mrs. William Harold, Mrs. Crlss Mason, Jr., Mrs. Howard How-ard Mace, Mrs. William Kennedy, Mrs. Glen White, Mrs. Harold Wycff, and Mrs. Jack Vick. The afternoon was spent playing bridge. Score prizes were awarded award-ed to Mrs. Mason and Mrs. White. Cedar Chapter 20, Order of Eastern Star was well represented represent-ed at the grand visitation and banquet held at the new Masonic temple at Milford. Those attending attend-ing were Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Endsley, Mrs. Albert Geiger, Sr., Mrs. Evan Caruthers, Mrs. Robert Smith, Mrs. R. L. Wahl, Mrs. Clayton Lewis, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Bunnell, Mr. and Mrs. Freeman Orr, Mrs. Arnold Arrowsmith, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R"ach, Mrs. Charles Oakely, Mrs. Otto Junge, Mrs. Fred LaFrentz, Mrs. Louis Guthiel, Mrs. Oscar Larson, Mrs. Harold Wycoff and Mrs. Ralph Box. The Square Dance Jamboree held at Provo last Saturday found several cedar City people taking part. Making the trip to Provo were Mr. and Mrs. Keith Fraser, Mr. and Mrs. Zealand Murdock, Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Flnyd Tucker, Tuck-er, Mr. and Mrs. Monte Bennett, Mr. and Mrs. Eldro RIgby, Mr. and Mrs. Morris Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Beasley and Dr. and Mrs. A. F. Rich. Mrs. Albert Geiger, Sr., will leave Saturday for a few weeks in southern California to visit with her daughter, Mrs. Joseph VeaCava and family. Jay Sevy, J., of Ogden is visiting vis-iting his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Smith for a few days this week. Upon their return from a three i 'weeks visit in the East recently I Mr. and Mrs. Fred LaFrentz were accompanied by Mrs. Sadie LaFrentz, La-Frentz, mother of Mr. LaFrentz, who joined them at Davenport, Iowa. Other Iowa guests are Joan and Carol Sue Gibney, nieces, who plan to remain in Cedar City to finish the school semester. semes-ter.
