Show Gun, Rod Club Plans Rabbit Hunt, Election Meet At a membership meeting of the Parowan Gun and Rod Club held in the courtroom of the Iron County courthouse Monday night, plans were made for holding a rabbit hunt for members of the club, with the annual election to follow the hunt. The hunt will be held Saturday, Satur-day, Jan. 2 according to plans and members of the club are invited in-vited and urged to take part. The hunters will gather at Burton's Service Co. .at 1 p. m. Saturday to leave for the hunting grounds. After a set period of hunting, club members will gather at the hunting area where a weenk? roast Is planned with the yearly election to be held at the same time. The hunt will be held in the west end of Parowan valley south of Little Salt Lake. Present officers of the club are as follows: Norman Day, presi-dent; presi-dent; Vern Mortense.-., vice president; pres-ident; Duane Van Ausdal, secretary, secre-tary, Leonard Orton, treasurer; Woodrow Decker and Earl Bunn as members of the ooard of directors. di-rectors. Warren Pendleton and S. M. Clark, local game warden, are honorary members of the board of directors. |
