Show Dec. 28-Jan.3Named "Clothes for Korea Week" by Governor As the result of a concerted clothing collection drive throughout through-out Utah this week, people of Cedar City and surrounding area will have the opportunity to help ease the suffering of thousands of homeless, helpless victims of the recent devastating fire which swept through war-weary Pusan, Korea. By proclamation of Gov. J. Bracken Lee the week of Dec. 2S through Jan. 3 was officially declared de-clared "Clothes for Korea Week" throughout Utah. In order to help these homeless people face the cold winter months people are asked to contribute clothes, shoes and bedding. j Contributions will be accepted at the National Guard Armory in Cedar City until Sunday evening, Jan. 3. If anyone has items of l i ' i u. i ' 1 " . v. . . . be contributed, but has no way of getting them to the armory, he is asked to telephone the armory, phone 1034, to arrange for pickup pick-up at home Sunday morning by members of the Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 202nd FA battalion. Collections will start soon after 9 a. m. Sunday. The armory will be open all day Saturday and Sunday so that contributions can be accepted. |
