Show Geraldine Rollo, Garth Fisher Recite Wedding Vows Exchanging marriage vows in a double ring ceremony at the St. George LDS temple Tuesday, Doc. 29, were Miss Geraldine Hollo, Cedar City, and Arnold Garth Fisher, Orderville, prominent prom-inent students at the College of Southern Utah. The young couple were honored at a reception at the home of the bride's parents Tuesday evening, after which they left for a honeymoon honey-moon trip to Los Angeles-. They will make their home in Cedar City and continue their studies at C S U. The bride, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Rollo, Cedar City, is a graduate of Cedar City high school, and a student at the College of Southern Utah. She has been prominent in extra cur-ricular cur-ricular activities at the two schools, and at present Is serving as editor of the college newspaper, news-paper, is president of the band organization, and is affiliated with the Phi Alpha Beta sorority. She has been active in music, dramatics and debate at both schools. The groom, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Byron P. Fisher of Orderville, Order-ville, graduated from the Uintah Uin-tah high school at Vernal, before He attended the University of; Utah and then entered College of Southern Utah where he has been a prominent member of the Bronco basketball squad. He attended at-tended Brigham Young University Universi-ty at Provo during the fall quarter, quar-ter, but returned to C S U for the remainder of he current school year. Attending the bride at the reception re-ception at the home of her parents par-ents Tuesday evening were Mrs. E. T. Woolf, sister of .the bride, matron of honor; Mrs. Klien Rollo, Rol-lo, Mrs. Kendall Jones, and Miss Janice Fisher, bridesmaids. Roger Fisher, brother of the groom, was best man. Presiding at the serving table were Mrs. Leo Larson, Mrs. J. S. Prestwich, Mrs. LaNolr Jones, and Mrs. R. A. Thorley. Presiding in the dining room was Mrs. William Wil-liam Snow. Serving were the Misses Renee Halversen, Barbara Lunt and Karen Froyd. And in charge of the gift loom were Miss Ton! Cower, Miss LaRae Stapley and Mrs. J. P. Bettridge. Ushers were Klien Rollo, Gene Woolf and Kendall Jones. The bride wore a gown of white satin with skirt of accordion pleated nylon net and matching lace trim on ths neck and skirt. Her bridal aluslon veil hung from a crown of tiny seed pearls. She carried a bouquet of chrysanthemums chrysanthe-mums and a single white orchid. Her attendants wore Christmas blue satin gowns with white satin sa-tin muffs covered with Chrysanthemums Chrysan-themums and a spray of holly. ine Driae s moiner cnose a powder pow-der blue lrredescent taffeta gown, and the groom's mother a dusty rose gown, and both wore corsages cor-sages of chrysanthemums. All gowns of the bridal party were of ballerina length. |
