Show NEWCASTLE j Lon Christensen attended the Farm Home Administration convention con-vention in Logan last week. Miss Colleen Tullis, who has been attending school at Utrh State agricultural College in Logan, Lo-gan, is home for the Christmas holidays. The Relief Society Christrms party was held Tuesday. Featured Fea-tured was the reading of Dick-en's Dick-en's "Christmas Carol" by Nellie Hart. Tuesday evening the M I A presented the story of Cinderella in pantomine. Cast in principal roles were the town's most talented tal-ented men. Sunday mornin the Sunday School and Primary combined to present a very interesting Christmas Christ-mas program. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reeves and family have moved to St. George for the winter. Little Janet Tullis, who was confined to the Iron County hospital hos-pital last week, has ieturned to her home. Elwood Harrison, who has been serving with the United States Navy for the past six years, was released from service recently re-cently and is now at home. Ho served in the Medical Corps and spent part of his time in South Pacific. During the prut year he was with the F E D C II in Formosa and with the Fi-st Marine Division in Korea. Mr. and Mrs. Moroni Gillies spent Saturday in Cedar City visiting with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ku-men Ku-men Gardner. While In Cedar City they attended an accordion recital in which their grandson, Eric Gardner, performed. |
