Show M. A. Cowleys Given Award Banquet Invitation Mr. and Mrs. M. A. Cowley, owners and operators of the Cowley Cow-ley Drug Company in Cedar City, have received this week an invitation invi-tation to attend a banquet in honor Dr. David O. McKay, president pres-ident of the Chruch of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and Mrs. Christopher E. Athas, first vice president of the Utah Pharmaceutical Phar-maceutical Association. The banquet is being sponsored spon-sored by the College of Pharmacy, Pharma-cy, University of Utah, and will be held at the Starlite Gardens of Hotel Utah on Monday evening, eve-ning, Nov. 29. Greek Consul, John Tzouis, will make a presentation to the two honored guests in behalf of his government. President McKay will receive the Cross of the Commander Com-mander of the Order of Phoenix, highest decoration the Greek Government can bestow on a civilian. ci-vilian. Mr. Athas will be decorated decorat-ed with the God Cross of the Order Or-der of Phoenix. |
