Members of the South and West Field Irrigation Ir-rigation Company and workmen lor the Whitney Bros. Construction Company view the diversion dam in Cedar Canyon as it nears completion. As the water passes pass-es over the dam a diversion up to 50 second sec-ond feet of water can be made from a gate located at the base on the right side, just in the shadows. Control of the division can be maintained from a control point located on top of the dam at the right and the diverted water is taken into the irrigation irriga-tion company's canal still further to the right, or south of Coal Creek. The spillway spill-way on the right takes out silt, allowing only comparatively clean water to enter the canal. |
