Show Heart Ailment Takes Life of James Earl Bennett James Earl Bennett, 51, Oregon Ore-gon businessman, former resident resi-dent of Parowan and husband of Mrs. Maude Hunter Bennett, formerly of Cedar City, died sud-jdenly sud-jdenly Monday of a heart ailment, ail-ment, according to word receive ! here by relatives. Mr. Bennett was born in Pa-onia, Pa-onia, Colo., on Aug. 12, 1903, a son of Thomas and Sarah Jane Wardell Bennett. He moved to Parowan with his parents at an early age and spent his youth here. He married Maude Hunter of Cedar City on Oct. 25, 1021, and they made their home in Oakley, Idaho, for several years. Later they moved to Klamath Falls, Oregon, and then to Lakeview, ! Oregon, where Mr. Bennett owned own-ed .vi d operated a grocery and a cli.thinp store. He survived by his widow, a daughter, Beverly Jane Clause, and a son, Robert Bennett, both of Oregon, and five grandchild ren. Also surviving are two brothers, Dell and Vivian, and a j sister, Vanda, all of Oregon, and 'another sister, Mrs. Robert (Enid) Mitchell, Parowan. I Funeral services will be conducted con-ducted Friday in Lakeview, where burial will be made. Mr. land Mrs. M. J. Urie, Mrs. John Beal and perhaps Mont Hunter, .expect to attend the services. |
