Show County Treasurer Tells Penalities On Delinquent Taxes Clair Unlet, Iron County treasurer, treas-urer, informs us that with the deadline for paying lO.vl taxes rapidly approaching, that collections collec-tions so far this year are slightly slight-ly ahead of the 1053 payment rate, and that collections for this year should be as good if not better than last year when approximately ap-proximately rr of all taxes levied le-vied were collected by the delinquent delin-quent date. Taxes for 1051 will be delinquent delin-quent at noon next Tuesday, Nov. 30, Mr. Unlet states after which all unpaid items will be advertised advertis-ed according to law, with Ihe delinquent list to appear in the Iron County Record of Thursday, Dec. 0. Following the delinquent date a penalty of 2'', of the amount of taxes due will be added, with a 25 cent fee to pay for the cost of advertising. This will apply to taxes paid between the delinquent delin-quent date on Nov. 30 and the sale date on Jan. 10, after which a sale fee of $1.00 will be added add-ed to each item, along with interest, in-terest, which will be added to the amount of the unpaid taxes until they are finally paid. |
