Show 1 - Miss Peggy Sherratt Becomes Bride In Temple Ceremony Announcement was made today to-day by Mr. and Mrs. George Sherratt of the marriage of their daughter, I'eggy, to Warren Williams. Wil-liams. The marriage was solemnized solemn-ized in the St. George Temple, Nov. 17, with President Harold S. Snow performing the ceremony. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. anil Mrs. Alex B. Williams of Cedar City. Bridal party accompanying the young couple to the temple included in-cluded parents of both bride and groom; Mrs. Gwen Allen of Sprir.gville, Mrs. Dale K. Hermansen, Her-mansen, Salt Lake City; Miss Joan Carlson and Mrs. Joseph Hermansen, Mt. Pleasant; Mead Warren, Mesa, Ariz.; Bishop and Mrs. Parson U. Webster, Bishop and Mrs. Henry P. Dot son of Cedar Ce-dar City. hollowing me morning ceremony cere-mony the couple were honored by the group at a dinner in St. George. Wednesday evening the couple were honored further at a reception re-ception held at the First Ward Belief Society rooms. Many relatives rela-tives and friends called during the evening. Assisting the lovely bride was Bertha Hermansen. an aunt, as' matron of honor; Joan Carlson, maid of honor, and Joeila Riddley, Rid-dley, Deanna Durrant, Bonnie Gay Sherratt and Karen Beatty as bridesmaids. Assisting in the kitchen were Mrs. Margaret Gamble and Mrs. Don Lowder; the Misses Eva Dean Pryor and Pat Lampman were in charge of the gift room. The popular young couple left on a honeymoon trip to California Califor-nia following the reception. They plan to return to Cedar City where thev w ill make a home. Mr. Williams is engaged in the livestock business with his father in Cedar City. He is a graduate of the Cedar Citv High School and has attended the College Col-lege of Southern Utah. The new Mrs. Williams has been mnloyed at Ray's Cafe for the past three years. |
