HAVEN SMITH Utah Farm Bureau members who attend the annual convention conven-tion of the Utah State Farm Bureau Bu-reau Federation Dec. 2, 3 and 4 will be privileged to hear one of the outstanding farm leaders, linger Fleming, who is secretary-treasurer secretary-treasurer of the American Farm Bureau Federation. J. Blaine Suenson, president of the Utah Farm Bureau Federation, Federa-tion, has announced that Mr. Fleming will be the keynote speaker of the three-day meet to be held at the Newhouse Hotel Ho-tel in Salt Lake City. Mr. Fleming will bring a vast amount of experience and knowledge know-ledge to Salt Lake City, according accord-ing to Mr. Swenson. In addition to being secretary-treasurer of the American Farm Bureau Federation, Fed-eration, he is also director of the A F 1? F's Washington office. Mr, Fleming will deliver his keynote address at the first general gen-eral session Thursday morning, Dec. 2. and at the annual convention conven-tion banquet Dec. 3. , Mrs. Haven Smith, president of I the Nebraska Farm Bureau women's wo-men's group will speak at the women's department Thursday afternoon and at the general session ses-sion at (i:3l) Thursday evening, Dec. 2. Mr. Fleming will also deliver de-liver a major address at the annual an-nual banquet at G:30 p. m. Friday. Fri-day. Dec. 3. Also highlighting the banquet program will be presentation of . the annual Farm Bureau distinguished disting-uished service awards. Registration of the convention delegates wil ltake place at 8:30 a. m. on Dec. 2. Convention sessions ses-sions will end Saturday, Dec. 1, with the annual election of state officers. |
