Show Fiftieth Wedding Date Open House Honors R. W. Bullochs Open House will be held -at the home of Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Bulloch, Bul-loch, 51 South 300 West Street, from 3 p. m. to G p. m. Sunday, Sun-day, Nov. 28, honoring Mr. and Mrs. Bulloch on their 50 Wedding Wed-ding Anniversary. They were married on November 20, 1904, and have made their-home in Cedar City since. Mr. Bulloch was born in Cedar City on July 29, 1875, a son of David and Alice Bladen Bulloch. He is the last survivor of the 33 men who went into the mountain moun-tain in the winter of 1898 to get out lumber to build the old Branch Normal School, now College Col-lege of Southern Utah. He has been prominent in livestock and farming business of this area, and has always been an outstanding out-standing supporter of community affairs. Mrs. Bulloch, the former Ar-minta Ar-minta McConnell, was a daughter daugh-ter of Henry and Elsa McConnell and was born in Cedar City on Oct. 5, 1877. She was a charter member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and helped organize the first D U P chapter here. She has been active in church affairs, particularly in the Relief Society i of her ward. They are the parents of seven children, including Leonard, Henry Hen-ry (Chick), David, Robert and Brozc Bulloch, all of Cedar City Cwen Bulloch Jackson, Bates, Ore., and Wilma Bulloch Esplin, Nyssa, Ore. They have 19 grandchildren. grand-children. Mr. and Mrs. Bulloch will welcome wel-come their friends at their home Sunday, but request that no gifts be sent. |
