Show Truck Damages Cafe, Repairs Completed After sustaining an estimated $500 to $750 damage when a driverless produce truck smashed through the front of the building build-ing repairs were completed on Ray's Cafe this week. The establishment estab-lishment was closed for a day while basic repairs were made. A run-away vehicle operated by James Kippen, Salt Lake City, rolled about 200 feet to gouge a hole in the south side of the front of the building after the driver had parked it at a nearby near-by establishment. The driver said the truck's brakes had been set, but failed to hold, according to Cedar City polise officer George Manning. |
