Show Scouts Wait Skiing, Other Sports in First "Snow Camp" . Cedar Breaks district, Boy Scouts of America, will hold Its first annual snow camp Friday. Dec. 28 and Saturday, Dec. 2'.) from 1 to 3 p. m., it was announced an-nounced this week by Max Whitney, Whit-ney, camping and activities chairman for the district. The camp will be held at the Dixie National forest camp above Wood's ranch. About one hundred boys are expected to attend the event, which will emphasize winter camping. Skiing, snow-shoeing and tobogganing also will be stressed. Sheldon Olds, district scout commissioner, and Gordon Williams, Wil-liams, district explorer commissioner, commis-sioner, have played key roles in arranging for the event. Nine boy scout troops and six explorer posts are expected to participate, according to Mr. Whitney. |
