Show Ian. 2 Last Date For Winter Quarter Sign-up Although the winter quarter has already started at Branch Agricultural college, students may still register Jan. 2 by making mak-ing the proper arrangements with the dean of students, announced Dr. Daryl Chase, college director. When school resumes after the Christmas holidays, the winter quarter will be in its third week, making it necessary for them to take less than the maximum number of credit hours for that quarter, Dr. Chase explained. However, since many students have indicated they will transfer trans-fer from other institutions at the end of the first quarter, registration reg-istration will be kept open during dur-ing the third week of the quarter. quar-ter. Students who register late should get the approval of the chairman of their major department depart-ment who will recommend the course load for them to carry for the remainder of the winter quarter. quar-ter. A normal registration maximum max-imum is 17 quarter hours exclusive exclus-ive of physical education. Credit Cre-dit in excess of that amount may be carried only by permission of the attendance and scholarship scholar-ship committee. Twelve quarter I hours is the minimum registration registra-tion for regular students. Special Spe-cial students may take less than ' 12 quarter hours. |
