Show Cedar City Victim Of Collision Said Recovering Ross Bryant, 52, Cedar City, was reported in good condition at the Iron County hospital Wednesday Wed-nesday following a mishap Saturday Sat-urday in which the tractor he was driving collided with an automobile. He suffered severe head lacerations, concussion and fractures of the right leg and ankle. The accident occurred when Mr. Bryant was crossing Highway High-way 5i at Beryl Junction on a traetor, according to State Trooper Troop-er Thomas Semmens, who investigated. inves-tigated. A car driven by Kimner Smith Jensen, 19, Cedar City, struck the front of the tractor and tore off the front wheels. Mr. : Bryant was thrown to the road. The Jensen youth told investigating investi-gating officers he assumed the , tractor would stop at the junc-; junc-; tion. Apparently Mr. Bryant did not see the Jensen car which was ; proceeding west on Highway 5G, : officers Semmens said. Damage to the Jensen machine : was estimated at $500. Mr. Jen- sen was uninjured. Mr. Bryant is an employee of ' the Leo Knell farm, west of New- castle. |
