Show Miss Adams Trades Wedding Vows With DeVon Slack LuJean Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Robert P. Adams, and DeVon Calvin Slack, son of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Slack, all of Cedar City, exchanged marriage vows Saturday, Dec. 22, at 6 p. m. The ceremony was performed by Bishop James Hey wood in the First ward Relief Society room in the presence of members of the immediate families and close friends. Mairon of honor at the ceremony cere-mony was Mrs. Lean Heyborne, aim Rooert SimKins was best man. Tne bride is a student of the Ceaar Cay nign school, wnere sne lias been active in musical circles. cir-cles. Tne groom is a grauuaie ot the Ceuar City hign school, having completed his studies there in May, 19d1. He has been employed by the Premium Oil company since graduation. Following the wedding ceremony cere-mony the young couple was hon-nored hon-nored at a reception in the banquet ban-quet hall of tne ward chapel. Receiving Re-ceiving at the reception were the bride and groom, their parents, the matron of honor and best man. In charge of the program at the reception was Miss Alice Messer, and in charge of the serving were Mrs. Viola Hauer, Mrs. Carmen Hougland and Miss Patricia Dockstader. Miss Aleen Bauer, Miss Lillie Blackburn, Miss Kay Seegmiller and Mrs. Janice Beat-ty Beat-ty were in charge of the gift room. The musical program included in-cluded vocal solos by Miss Messer, Mes-ser, Miss Blackburn, Miss Arden Pace and Prof. Blaine Johnson. |
