Show Completes Korean Missions ALAN WILLIAMS Word has been received from the Fifth Air Force in Korea that Airman Second Class Richard Alan Williams, picture above, has finished 50 combat missions with an attached Air Weather "Flight of the 67th Tactical Reconnaissance Re-connaissance Wing and has left for the United States. Alan is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Williams Wil-liams of Cedar City. Flying as a radio operator on unarmed RB-2Cs, he went on data-gathering missions in the twin-engine aircraft over North Korea to supply United Nations I Air Forces with the latest weather wea-ther information. Since reaching Korea on Dec. 31. 1952, lie has been awarded the Air Medal with .an oal leaf cluster. Airman Williams Wil-liams graduated from the Cedar City high school in 1051 and enlisted en-listed in the Air Force in January, Janu-ary, l!).-)2. |
