Show BYU President Heads NewLDS Church School System A merger of the entire church educational system with Brig- Brigham Young University was announced recently by the First Presidency of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Paints. The move will bring more than 50.000 students directly under the supervision of the university president. These include 29.S12 students in 192 junior and senior seminaries. 43 It? students in IS institutes, 13.700 now served in Brigham Young University and its training schools, and thousands thou-sands in seven other church schools.
