Show ENOCH AND MIDVALLEY NEWS Mr. and Mrs. Basil Walker of Pleasant Grove spent a few days visiting with their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Jones, and Mr. and Mrs. Myron Jones. Mrs. Glen Jones returned to Pleasant Grove to spend a few days. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Chris-tensen Chris-tensen and children have been vacationing for three weeks with Mrs. Christensen's parents at Mystic in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Mr. and Mrs. Millard Halter-man Halter-man of Mids-alley and Mr. and Mrs. Sam Halterman of Pa rowan and Isabelle Daniels of Alham-bra, Alham-bra, Calif., spent three days last week touring the parks. Grand, Bryce, Zion and Cedar Breaks. Mr. and Mrs. David Murie and all of their descendents (40 in all) spent last Sunday afternoon at the Parowan Five Mile recreation recrea-tion camp. Those present from out of town were Mr. and Mrs. Bryant Anderson and family of Bountiful; Mr. and Mrs. N. B. Gifford and children from San Francisco, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Farrell Murie of Enterprise. A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Matheson at the Iron County hospital July 9. The grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Owen Matheson of Enoch and Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Warren of Parowan. Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Maxwell and children of Salt Lake City were visitors at Enoch and Cedar City. Mrs. Maxwell is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Urie Williams and Mr. Maxwell is a son of Mrs. Josephine Maxwell of Cedar City. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bess and family of Murray visited with Mr. and Mrs. Owen Matheson this week. Miss Charlene Murie had the misfortune to fall last Wednes- day resulting in a broken collar bone. She is the four-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Murie. The Mia Maids and the Explorer Explor-er Scouts spent Tuesday evening swimming in Cedar City after which they met at the home of Dilworth Armstrong where they played games and were served refreshments. Mr. and Mrs. Stanford Jones and family and Mr. and Mrs. Ivor I Jones and family attended a I Temple reunion of the Chamber-lain Chamber-lain family at St. George Tues- day. |
