The three-year old boy died near midnight at the Iron County hospital as the result of acute bronchitis, complicated by asthma, according to the doctor's report. Fuiitral services were conducted conduct-ed in the Cedar Fourth Ward chapel cha-pel Monday afternoon by Bishop I'ernleigh Gardner, after which the body was taken to New Har- I mony for burial. g The boy was born in Salt Lake 1 City on Sept. 1, 1950, and is sur- I vived by his parents, an infant I brother, Cedar City; his grandparents, grand-parents, Mr. and Mrs. David L. Sargent, Cedar City, and Mr. and Eldon Schmutz of New Harmony. Speakers at the services were Dr. Reed W. Farnsworth, Charles C. Esplin and Oscar llulet, with brief remarks by Bishop Gardner. Invocation was by Bishop Marion Prince of New Harmony, benediction bene-diction by Blaine Stapley, and the dedicatory prayer at the cemetery cem-etery at New Harmony, by William Wil-liam H. Manning. Prayer at the home before the services was by i K. II. Gleave. Preliminary organ music was by Mrs. Virginia Larson, and the musical program Included a song, "Hold My Hand Dear Lord," by a ladies trio composed of Mrs. Lmma Warren, Mrs. Ruth C. Urie, and Mrs. Elaine Southwick, accompanied ac-companied by Mrs. June Thorley; a, vocal duet, "My Jesus, As Thou Will," by Mrs. Southwick and L. C. Miles, accompanied by Mrs. Bernella Jones; A vocal solo, "Let the Little Ones Come Unto Me," by Mrs. Urie, accompanied by Mrs. Thorley, and a violin selection selec-tion "Oh Dry Those Tears," by R. L. Halversen, Floyd and Marlon Mar-lon Munson, Maridon Smith and Mrs. Howard Thorley, accompanied accompan-ied by Mrs. Larson. |
