Show Osborne Winsvold Dies in Iron County Hospital Osboine Winsvold, 59, of Cedar City, died at the Iron County hospital hos-pital Monday morning at 5 o'clock o'-clock of a strangulated hernia. Funeral services were held in the Cedar Sixth Ward chapel Tuesday Tues-day at 2 p. m. Mr. Winsvold has been employed em-ployed by the Southern Utah Power Company for 13 years and at the time of his death was supervisor sup-ervisor of the diesel plant at the west entrance of the city. Funeral services were presided over by Reed Roberts, bishop's counrcior, and Reverand Wm. Burton gave the invocation and benediction at the request of the family. Speakers at the services included includ-ed Samuel F. Leigh and Randolph Ran-dolph Giimshaw. Musical portion of the program included a vocal duet. "Whispering Hope," by Magnon Gillham and Cora Lee Gibson, and a quartet number, "Jesus Lever of My Soul," The quaitet was composed of Ivor Jones, George Grlmshaw, Elwyn Armstrong and Henry Grimshaw of Enoch. Accompanist for both numheis was Janice Jones. Dedication of the grave at the Cedar City cemetery was by Edwin Ed-win C. Cox. Survivors include his wife, Sigurd Sig-urd Sagen Winsvold, and one daugl ter, Sonja. |
