Show CSU Air Force Unit Welcomes New Warrant Officer A new officer has reported for duty at the air science department depart-ment of the College of Southern Utah. He is Chief Warrant Officer Raymond A. Stevens, who was transferred to Cedar City from Utah State Agricultural College at Logan, it was announced by CSU Director Daryl Chase. Mr. Stevens is the first officer to be assigned to C S U since Lt. Col. H. P. Anderson assumed command of the AF ROTC de-eachment. de-eachment. He will instruct basic cadets and function as unit adjutant. A native of Slayton, Minn. Mr. Stevens served with the 29th Bombardment Group on Guam during World War II and his most recent overseas tour was in Korea as an aircraft maintenance mainten-ance specialist with the 4th Fighter-Interceptor Group, the Sabre-jet unit which so success-fully success-fully battled the Russian-built MIGs. He is a graduate of Sacramento Sacra-mento State College, Calif., and has done graduate work in education edu-cation at Utah State. His wife and three children accompanied him to Cedar City. |
