Show KAN AMI A Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Noel Williams last week were Mr. and Mrs. Fay Parker Par-ker of Panguitch, Mrs. Zina Pollock Pol-lock and Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Frederick Fred-erick of Salt Lake City. Many of our townspeople attended at-tended the funeral services for Layron Williams in Cedar City last Saturday. Mr. Williams was buried in the Kanarra cemetery unde director of Jensen mortuary. Mr. and Mrs. Ed Strubble and daughter Barbara of Santa Ana California are visiting here for a few days. Mr., and Mrs. Rudger Fife and children of Cedar City and Mrs. Maria Prince and son of New Harmony visited Sunday with their mother Hannah A. Davis. Mr. and Mrs. Burns Hall and family of Las Vegas were week end visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Esther Wood. Mrs. Hettie Pollock has returned return-ed home after spending a month in Las Vegas with some of her children. Some of our townspeople attended at-tended the funeral of Arch Batty in Toquerville last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Davis and daughter Calda were week end visitors in Oasis. Utah. They went up to visit Mrs. Davis' brother, Washington Roundy, who is in a serious condition suffering from a fall from a truck in California a month ago, and who is still lying unconcious. Mr. and Mrs. James Schoen-field Schoen-field of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Clark Williams of Merced, Mer-ced, California called on relatives and friends here Saturday. They came to attend the funeral of their brother Layron Williams. Mr. and Mrs. Rees Davis of Henderson, Nov., called on relatives rela-tives Sunday. Mrs. Davis has been in the Iron County hospital suffering with a broken hip. The MIA held a Valentine ball February 14 at the school auditorium. aud-itorium. Miss De Leo Batty and Kenneth Williams were crowned king and queen of the ball. All report a very enjoyable time. Ellis Christenscn and son Marvin, Mar-vin, were business visitors in Og-den, Og-den, Utah. Val Davis has returned home from the Iron County hospital where he underwent surgery. Mr. and Mrs. Max Willis and children of Cedar City spent Sunday Sun-day here with Mrs. Willis' sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Dayton Davis. George A. Berry spent a few days last week in California. Mrs. Iva Wood of Las Vegas has returned home after visiting here for a few days with relatives. rela-tives.
