Show LamontE. Tueller Named to Cache County Post in rv Lamont E. Tueller, Iron county agricultural agent since 1931, Saturday was named Cache county agricultural agent with the Utah State Agricultural college col-lege extension service. Announcement of the appointment appoint-ment was made by Dr. Carl Frlschknecht, extension director, following approval by the col-lege col-lege board of trustees. Mr. Tueller replaces Lloyd R. Hunsaker who has been named professor of dairying and extension exten-sion dairyman at the USAC. Mr. Tueller will probably take over nis new auues in cacne county early In March. He was born May 19, 1800 at Paris, Idaho, a son of Christian and Elizabeth Von Almen Tuel-i Tuel-i ler. Mr. Tueller entered the USAC in the fall of 1919, following his early education In the district schools and the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Field-ing Field-ing Academy, Paris, Idaho. He attend the AC intermittently intermittent-ly from that time until he graduated grad-uated in 1931 with a bachelor of i .1 i . science ui-gree as an animal nus-bandry nus-bandry major. Upon graduation, he accepted the position as Iron county agent. Prior to his graduation from the USAC. Mr. Tueller filled a three-year mission for the LDS church in Switzerland and Germany. Ger-many. He has been very active in M I A and Sunday School work. He was named second counselor in the Parowan Stake presidency in 1931. He has also been a board member of the Iron County Red Cross chapter and of the Cedar City Chamber of Commerce. |
