Show Commissioners Report Iron and Salt Lake Counties Have Agreed on Hospital Bill Issue It was reported at the meeting meet-ing of the Board of Iron County Commissioners in Parowan last week that an agreement had been reached for the cancellation of hospital bills incurred by hospitalization hos-pitalization of residents of Iron county and Salt Lake county. The commissioners were notified noti-fied by the State Road Commission Com-mission that two stretches of road in Iron county would be left off the highway system of the state because of re-routing of highways, and consequently these stretches would be turned back to the county for maintenance. mainten-ance. The other is approximately ap-proximately 22 miles of road in Little Creek and Bear Valley, left off because of the new state road connecting U. S. Highways 91 and 89 via Bone Hollow and Lower Bear Valley. County Commissioner Douglas Clark was named as Iron County director in the Associated Civic Clubs of Southern and Eastern Utah. Dates for equalization meetings meet-ings in the county were set. One will be held at Cedar City on May 31 and one at Parowan on June 12. |
