Show New Bids Are Called For Construction Of Airport Building Sealed bids will be opened Wednesday, March 1, at 7:30 p. m. in the City and County building build-ing for the construction of an administration building and other oth-er improvements at the Cedar City municipal airport. This is the second call for bids on the building, since all of the previous bids were rejected by the city. Since that time, the plans for the administration building have been revised slightly in an attempt at-tempt to reduce construction costs. Location of the building was moved to the northwest 175 feet which will eliminate the cost of moving a house. By moving the administration building's location, loca-tion, the major portion of the outside paving cost was also eliminated. There is no second floor in the revised plans, which eliminated the observation deck and a serv. ing pantry. Also taken out of the new specifications are all of the kitchen equipment and the refrigeration re-frigeration equipment for the freight room.
