Show B. A. C. to Face Weber in New Fieldhouse Local sport fans are at last going to get into the new field-house field-house to see a basketball game, when the BAC Broncos meet the Weber Wildcats in games here Friday and Saturday nights. Excitement Ex-citement over the games is evenly even-ly divided between the fact that they will be played in the new fieldhouse, and the fact that recent re-cent rapid improvement in the BAC team play gives it an excellent excel-lent chance to tip the highly rated team from Ogden. The game will have no bearing bear-ing on the conference race, since the Weber team plays in the northern division, but the Wildcats Wild-cats are becoming almost as traditionally tra-ditionally keen rivals of the Broncos as are the Dixie Flyers. The Wildcats won twice from BAC at Ogden earlier in the season, sea-son, and the Broncos will be gunning gun-ning for revenge this week end, and two tough battles can be expected. ex-pected. The game Friday night will start at 9:00 p. m., after the Cedar Ce-dar and Kanab high school teams tangle in the local high school gym. The Saturday game will start at 8 p. m. Parking areas at the fieldhouse have not yet been cleared, so school officials ask that the fans park their cars either in the streets, or in the usual place back of the buildings on college hill. Those who park in the latter lat-ter area should then walk across the tennis courts to the field-house. field-house. The other conference teams will be engaged in league encounters en-counters this week end. Dixie will entertain the Westminster Parsons at St. George, and the Carbon Eagles will invade Eph-raim Eph-raim for two very important games with the Snow Badgers. |
