Show Theatre Guild's First Local Play To Be Presented Next Week The first local talent play to be staged under the auspices of the newly organized Rainbow Theatre Guild, will be presented four nights ! rext week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. The play "The State of the Union", Un-ion", a polltclal satire, Is filled with rich comedy and yet carries a message mes-sage to the people. It is directed by Professor Twain Tlppetts, head of the speech and dramatics depart -mer.j. of th9 Branch Agricultural college. The principals of the cast are Warren Bulloch, Loran A. Whiten, Mrs. Lucille Broadbent, Mrs. Aud-ree Aud-ree Duncan, and D. C. Dix, and this group Is backed up by an unusually unusual-ly strong supporting cast. Mr. Tlppetts states that if the play Is well received in Cedar City it will undoubtedly be taken to a number of neighboring cities at a later date. The cast has been rehearsing the play for several weeks, and has been working nightly for the past we-k to whip It into shape for prescn- tatlon. |
