Show Aged Parowan Man Dies Following Long Illness, Services Held Funeral serices were held In the Parowan East Ward Chapel Monday Mon-day afternoon for Joseph Oscar Decker, 81, who died at his home Friday following a lingering Illness. He was a prominent livestock man and farmer of Parowan. Mr. Decker was born in Parowan, Oct 17, 1866, a son of Zacharlab B. and Nancy Bean Decker, original Parowan valley pioneers. He Is survived by his widow, 11 children; Victor and Dwaln Decker, Mrs. Pearl Benson? Mrs. Rula Or-ton, Or-ton, Mrs. Marie Orton and Mrs. Jpt-ta Jpt-ta Rowley, Parowan; Mrs., Delia Hyatt, Ounnlson, Sanpete county; Mrs. Ivy Chrlstensen, Pocatello, Ida.; Niels J. Decker, Clearwater, Cal.; Mrs. Ona Bradshaw, Ploche, Nev.; and Mrs. Arthella Evans, Mllford, Beaver county; a sister, Mrs. Delia Jaynes. Oakland ( Calif.: 48 grandchildren grand-children and 20 great-grandchildren. |
