Show ENTERPRISE The first car-load of sugar beets ever to have been shipped from this region was loaded out at Beryl on November 2. It belonged to Leo Knell and partner and was raised on what was orglnally called "The Clark Farm." According to Mr. Anderson, An-derson, supervisor of the new beet industry in this vicinity, the field from which this car-load was taken yielded twenty-two tons to the acre The first meeting of the Enterprise Enter-prise PTA for the year was held at the school auditorium Thursday, October 30. A large group of parents were present having been given giv-en special Invitations by the teachers teach-ers who made personal visits to the homes for the purpose. With the principal, Mr. Leon Westover of flclating, a program of community singing, readings and musical numbers num-bers was rendered after which election elec-tion of new officers for the year, with Mr. Arthur Barlockcr as chairman, chair-man, took place. Officers elected were: Mrs. Bry-son Bry-son Cook, president; Mr. Leon West over, first vice-president; Mrs. Holland Hol-land of Beryl, second vice-president; Mrs. Edward Salisbury, secretary and treasurer. Mrs. Carl Foster was elected as chairman of the program pro-gram committee with instructions to select her own committeemen, Ivor Clove, Mrs. Heber Truman, Hebcr Holt, Mrs. Kenneth Hunt and Miss Llla Huntsman completed the election.
