Show Mesa Coach Pleased With Treatment and Officiating In Cedar Edwin L. Peterson is in receipt of a letter from Jay Tolman, football coach at Mesa College, Grand Junction, Colorado, in which he compliments the Branch Agricultural Agricultur-al college athletes and officials on the fine treatment the Mesa team received while in Cedar City for the game two weeks ago. He state.., In part: "Coach Murray Maughan and his fine squad are to be commended very highly for their sportsmanlike conduct. Our players were particularly parti-cularly Impressed with the fine spirit and clean play of the B. A. C. team. We also thought the officials offic-ials did a grand Job of officiating the game. It was one of the best officiated games we have played this year. "We sincerely hope that the fine spirit and hospitality so evident during dur-ing the football season will continue throughout the remainder of the year. Although Mesa Is pulling out of the Intermountain Junior College Col-lege conference at the end of this school year, we hope that we may, on occasion, continue our athletic relations with your school." |
