Show Body Of Chad Fife To Return Home Graveside services will be conducted con-ducted at the Cedar City cemetery at a p. m. Tuesday, for Chadrlck D. Fife, who gave his life on the battle front In Germany during the recent war. "Chad", as he was known to most people in Cedar City, was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel L. Fife. He entered military service on July 15, 1943, and was killed somewhere some-where in the vicinity of Achen, Germany Ger-many on October 28, 1944, while serving with the 16th Infantry of the First Army. He was a Private First class, and on September 3 1944, less than two months before his death he was awarded the Bronze Star for heroism In action on the German front. His body has been received at the Ogdcn center, and the Southern Utah Mortuary In Cedar City has been notified to receive the body at Lund at 3:30 p. m. Monday, November No-vember 10. Military services will be conducted conduct-ed at the graveside under the direction di-rection of Cedar Post No. 74 of the American Legion. |
