Matt Guitar Murphy and Willie Dixon, will appear at the Zephyr Club, 301 S. West Temple, in July. Murphy, who had a part in the Blues Brothers movie starring Dan Aykroyd, John Belushi and Aretha Franklin, will perform Thursday through Saturday. It was Murphys exquisite guitar solo on Memphis Slims Steppin Out two decades ago that inspired a Dixon. His early writings were school ems set to music.
