Established in April, the fund awards grants to eligible organizations in which American Express U.S. employees volunteer on a regular basis. The grant funding will go toward upgrading the computer system at the agency' s of fice. "every contribution that is made to Big BrothersBig Sisters is critical to the program ' s existence. The upgraded computers will enhance our ability to match children with volunteers," said Dana Eitner, executive director. "The need for this mentoring service in our community is especially important when one considers the growing number of children in need."
