Show REGISTRATION: Farmington City Recreation announces girls soft-ball soft-ball registration on April 4, 9 a.m.-l p.m. and April 6, 1:30-8 p.m. at the Recreation Office, 286 S. 200 East, Farmington. Registration fee will be: T-ball, grades 1-3, $20; fast pitch, grades 4-6, $25; and junior high fast grades 7-9, $30. BASEBALL CLINIC: The Viewmont High coaching staff presents an "Improve Your Baseball Skills" Clinic on Saturday, April 4 and 11 at the high school. Viking coach Roger Famsworth and his staff will be joined b) former major leaguers Dennis James and Dave Downs in teaching fundamentals fun-damentals to players ages 9-16. The cost is $10 with registration taking place before the clinic. Ages 9-10 will take the field April 4 at 9 a.m., while ages 1 1-12 begin their session at 1 p.m. The older groups will be instructet April 11 at 9 a.m. Times may change based on participation. BASKETBALL: Friday night is basketball night in the City of Salt. At the Delta Center, the Utah Jazz will face the Magic-less Los Angeles Lakers at 7:30 p.m., while the Runnin' Utes and Rhode Island will square off in the NIT at 8:30 p.m. in the Huntsman Center. GOLDEN EAGLES HOCKEY: The Salt Lake Golden Eagles, stil harboring hopes of reaching the playoffs, are in San Diego for games will the Gulls Saturday and Mc lay. Salt Lake is fighting Indianapolis for thr eighth and final IHL playorf spot. The Big Birds conclude regular seasoi play April 2-4 with a road game at Phoenix sandwiched in-between norm dates with Phoenix and Kansas City.
