Show Shots fired during traffic altercation KAYSVILLE A traffic altercation between four juveniles and and an adult couple turned ugly Tuesday when a man fired a rifle at trie car containing the minors and shattered the back window, Kaysville Police reported. None of the juveniles were hit by the bullet, but one of the passengers in the backseat suffered a minor laceration to his upper left arm from flying glass shards, tyo medical attention was required. A news release indicates the shooting happened at 2:25 p.m. near 300 W. and 200 NoruY in West Kaysville. Sgt. Paul Miya said an argument ensued after the juveniles accidentally ran the couple traveling in a white Ford Escort off the road. Words were exchanged and the couple then followed the teens down the street Witnesses told officers the unidentified passenger, described as a Caucasian male between 25 and 30 years old, used what appeared to be a small caliber rifle to shoot at the juveniles. The suspect's vehicle vehi-cle was driven by a woman witnesses describe as being dark, heavyset and having black hair. Officers are still looking for the suspects. |
