The Provo telephone office serves all of Utah County for operator information and assistance as-sistance calls, and customers throughout the valley are invited invit-ed to attend, Jensen said. . . Visitors will be able to observe ob-serve the automatic timing and ticketing of calls being dialed direct, the handling of long distance dis-tance and information .calls, cables and switching equipment as well as inspect the line trucks and vehicles used for installing in-stalling and maintaining telephone tele-phone service. Refreshments and a miniature minia-ture trimline telephone key chain will be given each visitor, Jenson added. |
