Show Bow and arrow permits on sale Bow and arrow permits for the 1967 Archery Season, which opens August 26, are now on sale at fish and game offices and some license agents located throughout the state. Permits will be sold upon personal or written application. All written applications must contain the archer's name, ad-: ad-: dress and big . game license number along with the $5 fee for both residents and nonresidents. nonres-idents. As in past seasons, the archer ar-cher may fill both his archery tag and his regular license tag during the archery season, but both must be taken with bow and arrow. Ai-chery permits are considered consid-ered in the same category as control permits and hunters are restricted to only one permit per-mit this year, so archers may not obtain a control permit in addition to their archery tag. This year's drawing will be shorter than in the past year's due to the fact that five of the elk units were open this year to unlimited number of bull only permits, which were sold earlier, thus the total number num-ber of units involved in the drawing is smaller. A list of the successful applicants ap-plicants will be available from most newspaper offices and Fish and Game offices by Wednesday, August 30. |
