In more recent years, he has served as president and vice-president of the Springville Chamber of Commerce and is a charter member of the Lions Club. He has served on the Springville library board and has been a member of the Farm Bureau board many years. His church service includes being in the presidency of the elders quorum and in the high priests presidency and as a member of the ward finance committee. He worked with the Scouts several years and was in the YMMIA and Sunday School superintendency. He has a daughter, Beverly Clark, and three sons, Don, Jon and Brent and 16 grandchildren. grand-children. His wife is the former for-mer Janet Crandall. Commenting on what he plans to do after retirement, he said he will continue in the egg business as a hobby, travel a little, take life easier and perhaps do a few other things for which he has never had time before. |
