Show Deer permits deadline set August 21 Hunters who plan on applying apply-ing for one of the control deer permits this year must have their application mailed into the proper sales office by 5:00 p.m. on August 21. Any areas which are oversubscribed after this deadline will then hold a drawing to determine the successful suc-cessful applicants. As in past years there is no limit on the number of regular resident or nonresident deer licenses, li-censes, but the number of control con-trol permits authorized by the Board of Big Game Control is limited and there is usually a heavy demand for these permits. per-mits. Applications for control permits per-mits must contain the hunter's full name, address, choice of hunting area and big game license li-cense number. Control permits cost $5 for residents and $7 for nonresidents. A hunting license can be purchased at the time applications applica-tions are made for the control permits, but no refunds on the license will be made if the applicant ap-plicant is unsuccessful in obtaining ob-taining a control permit. Hunters may obtain only one control permit this year and in the same category as control con-trol permits.
