Show Police to crack down on cars left on streets The Springville City Police Department this week issued a warning- to owners of abandoned abandon-ed .cars left on the streets, stating that the cars must be removed or they will be towed away. Wherever possible, the owner will be notified before the car is moved. The police point to the danger dan-ger to children and others of cars left jacked up on or adjacent ad-jacent to the streets, for a period per-iod of time. They also cite the fact that it is unlawful to overhaul ov-erhaul and repair .cars on the streets. In some instances, cars have been left on or near the street for as long as six months. This is gross violation of the law and will not be tolerated hereafter, here-after, it is pointed out. |
