Show Springville man at jamboree Dr. Kenneth B. Creer of this city, served as Scoutmaster of Jamboree Troop 7 at World Jamboree at Faragut State Park in Idaho. He was selected by the World Jamboree Committee of which President Nathan Eldon Tanner was a member. Dr. Creer received his appointment last November and was in several sev-eral training sessions with President Tanner and other adult leaders before leaving. A number of interesting reports re-ports have been received from Dr. Creer expressing his pleasure pleas-ure in participating with the many contingents of Scouts representing over 100 nations. He reports that high praise from the many foreign Scout leaders is being given to the U.S.A. for the outstanding type of organization shown here for the Scouts of the world. Scoutmaster Creer toured Glacier National Park and surrounding sur-rounding areas with his Scouts for several days following the closing of the jamboree. |
