Show (JlrevilieS . . . Sunday dinner was served at the home of Mr .and Mrs. Walter Wal-ter Anderson to friends, Mr. and Mrs. A. W. Steele, Ogden, and Aunt Ella Reynolds of Springville. An enjoyable afternoon after-noon was spent visiting and listening to some of Mrs. Reynolds Rey-nolds interesting poems. Dr. and Mrs. L. Douglas Smoot and three daughters, Annalee, LaCinda and Michelle, have returned to Utah to make their home from Redlands, ! Calif., where he was associated with Lockheed in research and and had been teaching part time at Cal. Tech. He will now be associate professor in the chemical engineering department depart-ment at BYU. They are making mak-ing their home at Carterville, north Provo. Mrs. Smoot is the former Marian Bird, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bird of this city. Dr. Smoot's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Douglas P. Smoot, live in Provo. Mr. and Mrs. George Peterson were in Burley, Idaho last week visiting their daughter and son-in-law, Paul and Phyl- i , lis Hansen and family. They also al-so enjoyed the county fan-while fan-while in Burley. Mr. and Mrs. Hansen came to Springville to got them and also brought ' them home Sunday, spending time with other relatives and friends. |
