Show Hazel Lucking HAZEL HELEN HOLLAND LUEKING, 85, died Oct. 13, 1981, in St. George. She was born Nov. 22, 1894, in Blackrock, Ark., to John Thomas and Lee Box Holland. She was a telephone operator supervisor for Bell Telephone. She married Carl Leslie Lueking on July 23, 1923, in Kansas City, Mo. He preceeded her in death. She was a member of the Grace Community Church and was very thoughtful of others, donating many years of charity. She moved to Boulder, Nev., in 1932 where she worked as telephone operator for 30 years. Survivors include brother and sisters-in-law: Gus Lueking and Helen Carrington of Kansas City, Mo., and Velma Holland of Boulder City, Nev. She was cremated with burial in the Boulder City Cemetery in Nevada. She asked that in lieu of flowers that friends donate to the Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements were performed by Boyer Southern Utah Mortuary. |
