New minister in Cedar Gity in November. Rev. Worthley enjoys flying and was a commercial com-mercial pilot for two years while serving a medical mission in Mexico. He also paints and has won several prizes in the area of Indian In-dian art, and he is looking forward to doing some landscape painting when spring returns. Rev. Worthley is enthusiastic en-thusiastic about reviving the Baptist members in Cedar City. "The congregation is a committed com-mitted and courageous group of people" he commented. His main effort will be to train the local congregation. CEDAR CITY - Cedar City has a new Baptist minister with some very exciting plans for the First Baptist Church located on 324 W. 200 N. Rev. Roy A. Worthley is a native of Oklahoma and has lived in the West most of his life. He has been a practicing Baptist minister since 1954. He has three daughters and one son. His children are grown and none reside in Cedar. Rev. Worthley has worked in small towns most of his life and feels very comfortable with Cedar City. He says the congregation is very small but it has already doubled in membership in the few weeks he has been there, and he expects ex-pects it to keep growing. Some of his future plans fpr the church include adding a multifunctional multi-functional building on and presenting musical programs to the community. com-munity.
