Show I Ram smashers trounce Redmen PAROWAN - In a repeat performance of an earlier season matchup, the Parowan High volleyball team defeated Cedar High's squad two games to one recently. Cedar High won the first game as they pulled together and played united ball. The team played complete; all facets of their game producing. " Stated one player, "We all bumped well, our spikes were good, ,our sets and serves were good, and we moved like a team." The girl Reds fell apart during the second game and Parowan won it. Said a Cedar High team member, "We played for ourselves, not as a team." The third game was better played by Cedar but Parowan continued playing good ball and won the game to take the match. Cedar will now host Dixie and Hurricane before the second region tournament which will close-out their regular season and decide which squads will go to State competition. |
